The FTOPS #3 Triple Shootout filled up pretty early, but FTP had a sense of humor about it and put up a new tourney for those that missed out (see pic below). I LOLed and registered.

Won my first table. 2nd Table played super duper batman style fast. HU guy was a calling station. Just biding my time, set him up huge, then out for $208..........

  1. What a tool!? To over-shove/jam an effective ~80 EFFING blinds pre-flop, HU, on top of a re-raiser, with 64o!!????!! WTF?! Curious that this fool made it out of the first table and to HU with you here!? Bummer luck CMitch!

Really enjoyed your writeup of that AQ < KK BvB hand in your last couple posts! I could read through that HH ten more times, and I don't think I could find a means to lose any less than you did there. I liked the 'check/call flop, check/raise turn' line you took. Seemed much braver than what I was originally willing to consider, but makes a lot of sense given the absence of any scare card. ...

I mean, you asked how to maximize profits if indeed unwilling to consider letting it go post-flop... and my answer was a willingness to get it all in on that flop. But now I'm thinking your line was likely much more +EV, as your patience/restraint to await the non-king non-club turn likely causes many more holdings to call you down here. And, again, I think that despite the results of this actual hand, we still need to assume you're ahead here more often than you're behind... (in this identical spot, against an unknown.)

Anyway, really enjoyed the posts! Good luck going forward, and have a great weekend!
