I overbet for value on the river thanks to the notes that I had on this player.
My notes read something along the lines of "bets big when bluffing, bets smallish when has a huge hand, has trouble folding his big hands." Based on the notes I figured he had a big hand and would bet if I checked the river to him. Once he made the last smallish bet on the river, I knew I was golden and he would call a shove. He insta-called.
Notes are you friend - especially against the guys that can't fold. :)

True that man. Notes are huge in maximizing profit. How many tables do you play at once? I 12 table NL100, and sometimes it makes it hard for me to take good notes on hands where I see showdowns, but I do the best I can.
